About the record:
Berliner Doom play on WER DAS HÖRT IST DOOM 12 pieces in scarce 10 minutes. Acceleration-pop under the minute-mark, with No Wave edge and Sleaford Mods loops. Postpunk stomper, bassy, monotonous and as sticky as last week's garbage. Smoothly recorded in Berlin.

BERLINER DOOM has also a great love song potential with autoaggressive undertones and psychosexual co-dependence. And so it's not surprising that they've already been to Kosovo and thrilled an audience there that didn't know German, but was all the more moved to tears by the universal language. And when the first calf tattoos of WER DAS HÖRT IST DOOM appear at the next Fusion Festival, then it's clear: the main stage of Tomorrowland is paved for this fine pop-phenomenon between pubic hilarity, herbaceous fatalism and precise abstinence.

The record was actually made as a kind of pandemic recording and ARM became the somehow undisputed front woman/vocalist of the band. The record´s lyrics are mostly spontaneous, female or daily chaos driven.

In real life ARM, the vocalist and lead singer, is an inventor. She grew up in a little village in central Germany under the influence of Electronic Music, Emo-chore and Punk Music. Living in Berlin since 2000 she grows fascination of women overcoming the victim role. This reflects in her songwriting and music. Boris Guschlbauer is an author, gitar/sitar nerd, composer and globetrotter, performing in grind/punk/metal bands since the early 90ties. At the age of 16 he played his first gig. Daniel WTO beatloops may be limited to a maximum of 90 sec, but on the other hand he´s taking care of production. Back in 2000 he started as a soundengeneer, beat and record producer and end up sticking out german wave punk and electro bands.
