Berliner Doom present their new single "Alte weiße Frau, Bitte schön" ahead of the release of their new album "Wer Das Hört Ist Doom".

The Berlin trio lead by ARM (vocals/bass), Boris Guschlbauer (Guitar) and WTO (Drums) formed in Berlin in 2018, ceate a mix of punk rock and neue deutsche welle with songs less than 1 minute long.

"Alte weiße Frau, Bitte schön" is the unique extended radio edit, being that it is the longer edit as it otherwise would be.

The narrative of the song addresses the old white woman dancing her way to the top of the pops, steady but slowly leveling with her sweetheart, the old white man, when it comes to privilege, use of power, being will strong and other values that come into this often described picture. The song can be seen as a manual for those (men and women alike) who want to be aware of their power, to show it and to use it. On the way up there’s a lot of friction, as in anticipating other people’s feelings or listening to lame advice or thinking less of yourself just because of dirty fingernails, “oh ::: hahaha, that’s not going to stop me ; ) !!!"
